At around 3.40 pm on Friday (July 14), Humberside Police were called to White Lodge Sh00ting School on College Road near Thornton Curtis, six miles south of the Humber Bridge in North Lincolnshire, amid reports of a safety concern.
At the site, a man and a woman were pronounced deceased. Police have stated that they are not seeking anyone else concerning the incident.
“Inquiries are in the very early stages to establish the circumstances of the man and woman’s deαth,” stated senior investigating officer Chief Inspector Al Curtis.
“A homicide investigation has begun, and both deαths are being treated as suspicious until the facts are established.”
“We can confirm that we are not looking for anything else in connection with this investigation.”
“A scene guard will be stationed while we conduct our investigation, and residents should expect an increased policing presence in the area as we pursue all lines of inquiry.”

He stated that the victim’s next of kin have been notified and are being helped.
“We would like to reassure local residents that there is no risk to the wider public, and we will be conducting house-to-house visits to provide reassurance,” Mr Curtis added.
