Parkland Elementary Student Brings Knife To School To "Hurt Someone," According To Police

According to state police, a kid at Schnecksville Elementary School was given an indefinite suspension after they discovered the student had brought a knife to school.
The Parkland School District school located at 4260 Sand Spring Road in North Whitehall Township is where the 9-year-old boy was discovered with the knife shortly after 11 a.m. on the previous Thursday. The Pennsylvania State Police in Bethlehem reported the incident.
According to the police, the child confessed to having the knife because he “wanted to use it to hurt someone” when they questioned him about it.

According to the police, school administrators could remove the knife from the boy’s possession and send him home before the arrival of state troopers.
The Superintendent of Schools for the Parkland School District, Mark J. Madson, has been contacted with a request for comment.
