‘Begging’ for Action

Officials in Philadelphia pleaded with state and federal politicians to take action.
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, a Democrat, told a news conference on Tuesday-
“We are begging Congress to protect lives and do something about America’s gμn problem.”
