California’s MARYSVILLE — Following allegations that they had inappropriate interactions with a student, two elementary school staff in Yuba County were placed on leave, according to officials on Wednesday.
According to the Marysville Joint Unified School District, the personnel are from Edgewater Elementary School. According to Marysville Joint Unified, the district and law enforcement are investigating the claim while the employees are on leave.

“We take these allegations very seriously and, as such, the employee(s) in question have been placed on administrative leave while the District conducts a thorough investigation,” In part, a letter to parents reads.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department said that it is looking into the claims made by the student. According to the department, no charges have yet been brought.
