She had free time throughout the summer to care for their daughter, the garden, and—most importantly—the FISH! She belonged to the Lions Club and the Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

She frequently traveled with Eric to Lions conventions. After retiring with Eric to Clear Lake in 1996, she kept up her passion for gardening and fishing there. During the years, the two visited Arlyce’s brothers and Eric’s sisters and places where Michelle worked (CA, NY, MI, NC, OK, VA, etc.).

Her daughter Michelle (Mark McDaniel) Moody of Chaska, Minnesota, her sisters-in-law Evie Treitline of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and Esther Schlueter of Pierre, South Dakota, as well as a large number of adored nieces and nephews, survive her.

Her parents, her four incredible brothers, and her husband, Eric Moody, predeceased her.
