Justin Estira sustained injuries shortly before 1 a.m., as reported by the police, when he was struck by a teenage driver in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Rinconada Avenue.

The police said the motorist was traveling slowly northbound through the parking lot when they collided with Estira. Medical personnel at the scene subsequently confirmed Estira’s death.
