Casie Riney’s Impact: A Life Well Lived

Casie Riney was born in Keokuk on March 18, 1980. She was the daughter of Melvin “Buck” Curfman and Sandra (Reid) Curfman. Her home state is Missouri, and she finished from Clark County High School in 1998.

After that, Casie got a Bachelor of Science in health science from Truman State. She got married to Matthew Riney and they lived in Des Moines while she went to DMU to get her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. After that, they moved to Newton and had two children, Jackson and Alexandra.

Casie worked as a physician assistant at Capstone Behavioral Health in Newton. She was also active in her community at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was an extraordinary minister, helped with the Church Family Life Commission, and worked as a pastoral counselor. These roles showed how dedicated she was to her faith and community.
