Doug was a magnificent human being who was always there for his children and extended family, and he possessed a warmth, a sardonic sense of humour, and an enthusiasm for life that will be missed forever. Doug was born in New York City in 1972 and attended The Town School and The Dalton School. He served as Executive Vice President at real estate firm CBRE, Inc. for several years after graduating from Duke University in 1994.
On Thursday, September 14, at 9:30 a.m., a funeral service will be performed at Central Synagogue, 652 Lexington Ave. in New York City, which will also be live-streamed. Shiva will be observed at Central Synagogue in the lower Pavilion from 5-8 pm that evening, and at The Harmonie Club, 4 East 60th Street in New York City, from 12-3pm on Friday, September 15.

Doug bravely fought cancer and passed in the hospital in the early morning September 12, 2023. The remarkable length of time, 24 years, that Doug Lehman worked for CBRE is a testament to his dedication to the company and the people who worked there.
