Richard Gadomski Obituary: A Devoted Enthusiast Of Cars And Graduate Of New England Technical Institute

Sandra Useche-devoted Gadomski’s husband Richard H. Gadomski, 47, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023, with his family by his side.

He was Henry and Barbara (Bucholski) Gadomski’s only child, and he was born in New Britain. Richard was a devout man who attended Sacred Heart Church and used to be an altar boy. He always had a soft spot in his heart for the Sacred Heart Community. Richard went to New Britain High and Sacred Heart School.

He chose to study auto mechanics at New England Technical Institute because he was passionate about autos. He worked as a mechanic for many years before moving up to service manager at Valenti Cadillac. Richard loved to ride his Harley with his kid and friends and was truly passionate about the open road. He loved watching “The Big Bang Theory” while unwinding and was an ardent supporter of the Yankees and Raiders.

Richard was committed to his neighborhood, coaching New Britain Little League, leading the organization as president, and participating in the NRZ for the East Side Neighborhood as well as the Republican Town Committee for the city of New Britain.

He was the family’s best cook, and you could always find him having fun in the kitchen and entertaining his loved ones. He leaves behind his devoted children, Ashley (Grimaldi) and husband Christopher Majocha, Brandon Richard Gadomski, and Christian Gadomski, as well as his beloved parents and wife. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Hazel Majocha.

Together with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his grandmother Leokadia Bucholska will also miss him. Grandparents Eugeniusz Bucholski, Jozef, and Stefania Gadomski preceded Ricard in death. On Friday, February 24th, at 9:30 a.m., Sacred Heart Church will host a Mass of Christian Burial. In the Sacred Heart Cemetery, he will be interred.

Visitation will take place at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, on Thursday from 4:00–8:00 p.m. to reminisce with his relatives
