She is the beloved wife of Cliff Holdren III and the mother of Hannah and Isabella Holdren. devoted sister of the late Matthew (Rebecca) Smith, late Darcy (Chris) Scandura, late Mark (Shawna) Smith, and late Kathy Smith.
Aunt to Brieana, Jessica, Kiley, Tyler, and Matthew. Loved daughter of Carol and the late James Smith. In addition to being head flight nurse at the University of Chicago Hospital, Kelley directed the UCAN program.
As its president, she oversaw the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA). Many people loved her, and they will all miss her terribly.

On Monday, November 27, 2023, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, will have a visitation. The funeral home will host funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
