The Columbine High School massacre, which occurred on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, left 15 people dead, including the two attackers. One of the bloodiest school shootings in American history occurred during this time.

Dylan Klebold, 17, and Eric Harris, 18, carried out the shootings. They invaded Columbine High School in Jefferson County, Colorado, on April 20, 1999, armed with semiautomatic rifles, pistols, and explosives. They killed 12 additional kids and a teacher in less than 20 minutes while injuring 21 more.
