The ticketing section of Los Angeles International Airport has been partially evacuated after a suspicious object was found late on Saturday, 2, September 2023.

The object was discovered in the Tom Bradley Terminal around 9:40 p.m., causing authorities to clear the area of passengers and staff members.

A bomb squad was dispatched to the scene to inspect the object, which was eventually certified safe shortly before 11 p.m.

“Traffic diverted to West Way due to Police activity at Tom Bradley Terminal in the upper level,” LAX police wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Your patience is appreciated.”

A suspicious material was discovered at Tom Bradley International Terminal around 9:30 p.m. Airport Police responded and established a perimeter, as well as a partial evacuation.
